There are places you visit, and places that stay with you.

I found the Amalfi Coast in my twenties, and something about it never let go, the curve of the land, the rhythm of the sea, the quiet pull to return. So I have, every two years.

Now I come back with my family. I’ve shared this place with my daughters, knowing it will become part of their story too.

This painting is about that return, and the feeling that some places don’t just exist in the world, they live in you.
